1. Program Overview & Purpose
The ConnectMeGuru Customer Wallet Cashback Program is an automated loyalty initiative designed to reward travelers who choose ConnectMeGuru for international mobile data connectivity. Eligible purchases accrue a percentage of the order value as promotional store credit directly in the customer's digital travel wallet.
2. Order Eligibility Conditions
An order qualifies for wallet cashback only when all of the following criteria are satisfied:
- No Coupon Applied: No promotional discount code, whole-order discount, or coupon has been applied to the order. Discounted transactions are not eligible for cashback.
- No External Partner Referral: The order was placed directly or via the official platform referral link. Orders tracking commissions to external publisher or aggregator affiliate partners are excluded from customer cashback.
- Order Completion: The order has been successfully confirmed and provisioned by the carrier network. Cashback is reversed in case of cancelled order if credited earlier.
3. Trigger & Calculation (First Data Usage Abroad)
ConnectMeGuru cashback is triggered when your eSIM registers its first cellular roaming data session (usedVolume > 0). Cashback is strictly calculated on total amount charged minus tax and/or charges.
4. 45-Day Expiration & Validity Safeguard
Promotional cashback credits are valid for a duration of 45 calendar days from the date of issuance upon first data session.
Important Validity Notice: ConnectMeGuru reserves the full contractual right to audit, expire, or deduct unspent promotional cashback balances from customer wallets following 45 days of non-utilization or account dormancy. Customers are encouraged to utilize their accumulated cashback for repeat travel bookings or data top-ups within this 45-day window.
5. Store Credit Status & Non-Withdrawal Terms
Cashback balances exist exclusively as digital in-store credit pegged to United States Dollars (USD):
- No Cash Surrender Value: Promotional cashback is strictly non-withdrawable. It cannot be redeemed for fiat cash, wired to bank accounts, transferred via PayPal, or converted to cryptocurrencies.
- Non-Transferable: Cashback balances are tethered to the authenticated customer account that earned them and cannot be transferred or gifted to third-party accounts.
- Multi-Currency Compatibility: If checking out in an alternative currency (e.g., EUR, INR, GBP), your wallet USD balance is automatically converted at FX rates to cover the purchase.
6. Cancellation & Reversal Provisions
Under global telecommunications regulations and carrier policies, once an eSIM profile is activated or registers cellular data usage, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
In the rare event that an order is approved for cancellation or refund under administrative review, any cashback previously credited for the cancelled order is automatically debited and reversed from the user's wallet first. Once the cashback reversal is processed in the ledger, the standard order cancellation amount is credited back to the customer's wallet.
7. Program Amendments & Termination
ConnectMeGuru reserves the right to modify, adjust the percentage rates of, or discontinue the Wallet Cashback Program at any time with or without prior notice. Any changes will be updated on this page with an updated revision date.
